This Privacy Policy explains what information FashionXD (“we”, “us”, “the site”) collects when you visit fashionxd.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. FashionXD is an independent men’s style publication. We do not sell products, take bookings, or process payments.
Who we are
FashionXD is an independent editorial website about men’s fashion, grooming, and wardrobe building. It is written, run, and maintained by one person. There is no company, no team, and no staff — where this policy says “we”, that means me. The site is operated from India and our readers are mostly from USA. The website address is https://fashionxd.com.

What we collect and why
Information you give us
Comments. When you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user-agent string. This helps us detect spam. An anonymised string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have an account there. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible alongside it.
Contact form. If you message us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit. We use this only to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
Information collected automatically
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data on every visit: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamp. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which articles people read and how they find us. Google Analytics sets cookies and may collect your IP address, approximate location, device information, and pages viewed. We use this in aggregate — we do not attempt to identify individual readers. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Search Console. We use Google Search Console, which reports anonymised, aggregated search data. It does not identify individual users.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our service providers use them for the following purposes:
- Necessary cookies — required for the site to function, including caching and security.
- Comment cookies — if you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies so you don’t have to fill the form in again. These last one year.
- Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics as described above.
- Advertising cookies — used by advertising partners as described in the next section.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site works.

We display advertising on this site to keep it free to read.

FashionXD does not currently use affiliate links, and no article on this site contains paid product placement. If that changes, any affiliate relationship or sponsored placement will be clearly disclosed at the top of the relevant article, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guidelines. Editorial recommendations are never influenced by commercial arrangements.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content — videos, images, social media posts. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited that website directly. Those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.
Who I share data with
I do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. There is no mailing list, no customer database, and no marketing system behind this site.
The only parties that touch data are the services that make the site run:
- My web host — stores the site and its database, and keeps standard server logs
- Google — provides analytics, search performance data, and advertising
- Spam filtering — checks submitted comments
Worth being clear about this: most of the data described in this policy never reaches me at all. Analytics and advertising information is collected and held by Google under Google’s own privacy policy. I only ever see anonymised, aggregated reports — page views, rough geography, which articles are read. I cannot identify individual readers, and I have no way to look you up.
I may also disclose information if I am legally required to.
Where data is processed
This site is operated from [COUNTRY] and hosted on third-party servers that may sit in other countries. Google’s services operate globally. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this means information about your visit may be processed outside your region.

How long data is kept
- Comments — kept for as long as the comment is published. Deleted on request.
- Contact form messages — kept while the conversation is relevant, then deleted. Deleted sooner on request.
- Analytics and advertising data — held by Google, not by me, under Google’s retention settings.
- Server logs — held by my host for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights, and how to actually use them
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent.
Here is exactly what I hold, so you know what there is to ask for:
- If you have left a comment: your name, email address, IP address, and the comment itself
- If you have used the contact form: your name, email address, and your message
- Nothing else
I do not hold your browsing history, your location, or any advertising profile. That information sits with Google. To see or control it, use Google My Activity and Google Ads Settings directly — those are far more complete than anything I could provide.
To make a request: email [YOUR-EMAIL] from the address you used on the site, and say what you want — a copy of your data, or deletion. I will confirm it is you, then action it. I will respond as quickly as I can, and within the time limits the law sets.
If you are in California: under the CCPA and CPRA you have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. I do not sell personal information. Advertising cookies may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising — you can opt out through the advertising links in the Advertising section above.
If you are in the EEA or UK: you have the rights listed above under the GDPR, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption across the site and take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Material changes will be noted clearly.
